Happy Freebie Friday 18!

Hello all! TGIF! I've been at it again with my purse obsession and I decided to make it this week's Freebie Friday giveaway. You like it? I hope so! It's a slightly different version of the gift card holder. Here are a few more pictures:
The inside view - I added a pocket using the Scallop Envelope big shot die and a little bit of the Sweet Always DSP to cover the base of the pocket.By the way - Gift card is NOT INCLUDED ;)The full purse - it has a shorter handle than the other Gift Card purse. The finished purse size is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" - still fits in an envelope!
Ready to play for this week's giveaway? To play for this week's Freebie Friday, please leave me a comment on this post with your email address or blog url (basically, enough information so I can contact you) by Midnight Saturday, May 16th. The winner will be announced on Monday's blog post, so you can check back then. Good luck! You can leave me a comment on anything or answer the following question: What do you do with your craft scraps? I've been putting them in a "scraps" box, although now, that box seems to be overflowing. I've started using the scraps of DSP and punching out various shapes and organizing them in plastic ziploc bags, which has helped (....you may see these punch assortments in future giveaways!) although I still need to figure out a good way to organize my cardstock scraps. I'd love to hear what you all do!

Hope you have a great day and thanks for visiting :) Ciao for now.

Hi there Rose! Ooh that is super cute! I hope I win it so I can make some too ;) I have a big plastic basket with gallon size bags in it and put my scraps by color-greens, reds/pinks, oranges/yellows, blues, etc. and then I have one for narrow strips for basket filler once I crimp it or for that added strip of color on a project. When I am working on a project and punch extra shapes I put them in an empty Crystal Light container. When it's full I decorate it and give it away. Thanks so much for the chance to win!
Have a great weekend!

Hi, I was hoping you would do another purse giveaway and sure enough, you are. Thank you. I have the same delima with the scraps dsp and cs. It's piling up and not sure what to do with them either. I'll peek and read the comments others are doing. Great question.

I'm trying to figure out how to tame the scrap beast too! I use to put it by color back with the cardstock...now I don't have time for that...so I have boxes with scraps! Thanks for the chance to win.
Hugs!

Ahh....such a great project!!!

My scrap...well...I just throw them right into the coordinating pack of CS. So, if there are scraps of Real Red, they go in there and I can use them later if I need a smaller piece.
If I have punches something out, then don't use it right away, I put it is a glass fish bowl that's on my desk! When there's a lot, I bag it up with a cute topper and give it to a customer! :)

Your purse card is adorable!! I love that you made a size to fit in an envelope!
I have 6 Rubbermaid shoe boxes filled with my scraps. All my reds, oranges, & yellows are in one box...greens in another...etc...
Each box has quart sized plastic baggies in it filled with scraps. One baggie has Real Red scraps, another has Rose Red scraps...
When I'm working on a project & need Real Red scraps, I just pull out the baggie I need.
I have SO MANY SCRAPS!!!

The gift card purse is adorable! I also put my scraps in a box, so I'm looking forward to hearing how everyone else does it!
Thanks,

First of all, love the purse! What a cute itea for a gift card.

Scraps... I keep all my scraps with the full size card stock by color. That way I don't have to dig in a pile. But I try to use my scraps when I use my punches. There is usually a piece that will work.

I find that I can always use scraps for 3 x 3 cards. But the trick is remembering to grab those pieces first before cutting a new sheet of card stock!

Thanks for the change to win the fun freebie!

yeah another purse!
I too keep my scraps organized by colors in a big bin, but i tend to get lazy and the scraps just get thrown in on top then about once a month I have to go back and put them where they belong!!!

Rose,
Beautiful purse! I love the colors!
I quess my paper scraps box is not as organized as others; I just throw them all together. I try to use my paper scraps for smaller punches, but like Maria, the hardest thing is to remember to use the scraps before cutting in to a fresh sheet!
Thank you!
Take care!
