Fun playing {Dress Up!}

Hi all!  I've got a fun card share for you today.  I got to play with my new Dress Up framelits from the Spring Catalog and I have to say I love them!  The dress form alone is an awesome image, but ohh there are so many possibilities with the dresses!  For this particular card, I went with a pattern from the Sycamore Street DSP, which is one of the free products you can earn during Sale-a-bration!  Here's another look at the card:
What about that Honeycomb embossing folder - isn't that such a cool textured background?  I just love the look and feel of it! It really does add a nice flair to the card, don't you think? What I love about this card is that it really was so simple to put together, yet has such a fancy impact! This is actually a belated birthday card I made for a friend of mine...hope she likes it! Here's the card recipe for you.

Sycamore Street Dress Up
*Cardstock: Whisper White, Sycamore Street DSP (SAB), Crumb Cake
*Accessories: Honeycomb embossing folder, Dress Up framelits, Pool Party Seam Binding ribbon, Basic Pearls

If you like what you see, you can always shop now at my Online Store!

Have a fantastic day!  Ciao for now.

Sale-a-Bration is HERE!

I love this time of year at Stampin'Up!  It's Sale-a-Bration (SAB), and that means you can earn some free goodies when you order $50 or more in Stampin'Up! products.  Now, to entice you to see what you can earn, I created this fun little card using the Patterned Occasions Stamp Set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Seriously - aren't these pants just soo soo cute?!  I just love them.  Here's a look at the full card:
I used the adorable Cloudy Day embossing folder from the Spring Catalog and the Needlepoint Border embossing folder for the trim on the Whisper White cardstock. {can you tell I'm a big fan of that?}  As for the Happy Birthday stamp I used, it's called Blue Ribbon, from the big catty.  Are you wondering what punch I used to layer the round stamp?  Well, it's actually none other than the Scallop Circle punch!  I just notched out a "v" in each scallop to get that look.  Pretty nifty, eh?  Well, I hope you like the card and I hope I've piqued your interest on Sale-a-bration!  You can browse through the brochure here or click on the pic below.

Last but not least, here's the card recipe:

Happy Birthday, Smarty Pants!
*Stamp Set: Patterned Occasions (SAB), Blue Ribbon
*Cardstock: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Pool Party Core'dinations, Sycamore Street DSP (SAB)
*Inks: Pacific Point, Primrose Petal, Summer Starfruit
*Accessories: Needlepoint Border and Cloudy Day embossing folders, Primrose Petal Stitched Satin Ribbon, Pool Party Twine, Scallop Circle punch, 1" Square punch (to cut the ribbon tails on my ribbon!)

Hope you all have a fantastic day!  Thanks for popping by!

Thanks So Much!

Happy Monday, blog friends!  I am so excited that I got to play and create with some fun new stamps and products from the Stampin'Up! Spring Catalog!  Not only that, but I am also slowly getting acquainted with my new Mac and figuring out how to work things in MDS2!  So, for starters, how do you like the project above?  It's the gift box that holds the set of Thank You cards I created using the Oh, Hello Stamp set.  Love love love the tea lace paper doily! Here's a look at the inside of the box:

And, here's a closer look at the Thank You card:

I really love this stamp set.  I love the sentiments and that fun oval background stamp with chevrons in it.  And, how about that flower?  I love the vintage feel of it. So cool, don't you think?  Did you notice the subtle embossed trim on the edge of my card?  That sweet embossing edge is from the Spring Catalog, too!  It's called Needlepoint Border.

Now, what I also wanted to share with you is how I created the box!  I don't know about you, but during the holidays, I had to assemble quite a few gift boxes and I noted that I really liked how the Nordstrom gift box folded.  So, here is my rendition, with the instructions for a 4" x 5 1/2" finished box {with a 1" depth}.  Hope you like it:

Here's the Thank You card recipe for you:

Thanks so Much!
*Stamp Set: Oh, Hello
*Cardstock: Summer Starfruit, Whisper White {3"x 5" notecard and envies}
*Ink pads: Chocolate Chip, Primrose Petal, Summer Starfruit

Dude, You're Welcome!

One of the cool announcements that were made at Leadership that I’m excited to share is a new masculine stamp set offering called “Dude, You’re Welcome!”  What is that, you say?  Well, imagine a stamp set and papers especially made with the guy in mind.  Something that’s masculine and cool that I think the men in our lives would appreciate.  Do you wanna have a quick look to see what I mean?

Here’s a fun little video that says it all.  Take a look an enjoy!  I know it made me chuckle when I saw it the first time.

Whaddaya think?  Pretty cool, eh?  Are you wondering when and how you can get it?  Well, wonder no more!  It’s available starting today!  You can check it out at my online store here.  I know I’ll be getting one to share with my dear hubs.  I can’t wait to get his feedback!  Bye for now.

Feast your eyes on the Spring Mini Catalog!

Hi there blog friends!  How are you all doing?  Hope you guys are having a great week so far.  I know I probably already broke my New Year's resolution of being a more frequent blogger, but I will be trying to get on a more regular schedule.

Today, I'm excited to share the new Stampin'Up! Spring Catalog with you - it's got oodles of awesome products and the projects  throughout the catty  are a real  feast for the eyes. I know when I first went through it, I wanted everything!  You can take a look at the full catty here.  Let me know what you think!

While I'm at it, I also have a couple of Valentine's promos to share with you that are going on now and available til Jan 21!  Click on the image below to see the details:

Currently, I am en route to Orlando with my dear friend and downline, Norma, to attend Stampin'Up!'s Leadership conference.  It's Stampin'Up!'s 25th year, so I can't wait to see what they have in store for us. So, stay tuned!  I'll be sure to share what I can.  I am planning to blog on the go while I'm there, thanks to my new handy dandy Mac!  I have to say that having been a PC girl, this conversion to the Mac is a whole new world for me - even though I've been exposed to Apple products {a la iPhone and iPad}.  I've already learned a few great tips from Norma, so I think my blogging experience will be even more efficient than posting from a PC!

Thanks for coming by to visit.  I'll be back soon!  Have a great day! :)

Happy {2013}!

Hi there dear blog friends! Happy New Year to you all! Hope you guys had a wonderful holiday season and spent time with family and loved ones. I know I enjoyed this special time of year :)

In prepping for the holidays, I sorta got wrapped up in the holiday vortex, so my apologies for not completing my 12 days of Christmas!

It's a New Year, so I am looking forward to getting a fresh start on my blogging and crafting this year and I hope you'll continue to join me!

Here's a quick snap from our road trip home from Vegas today. Luckily, we left early enough to beat the holiday traffic!

Thanks for popping by! I'll be back soon!
