Oh What Fun tags and last day of Online Extravaganza!

Hi all! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I've been on a tag kick lately, and for today's share, I made tags from the Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit. These tags are so much cuter in person too! They coordinate with the Oh What Fun polymer stamp set. Here's a look at a few more close up!

The tag kit comes with all the supplies to create 30 tags (3 of each style). This is a great project to do with friends or even solo listening to Christmas music {which is what I did last night! heehee}. Hope you liked these!

Oh, and one last reminder - today is the last day of Online Extravaganza and don't miss the exclusive 24 hr flash sale on select items today!

Have a great one and thanks for stopping by! :)

A look at November's My Paper Pumpkin kit

Hello peeps! One of the things I look forward to getting in the mail each month is the My Paper Pumpkin kit and I have to say I just LOVE this month's project.  The snowflake cards and holiday tags are perfect for the holidays.

The die cut snowflakes make the card look so fancy!

I love the silver baker's twine around the card.  It makes it such a pretty little package.

And the tags - how cool and hip are those? The silver foil snowflake accent with a little rhinestone bling in the center will dress up any present!

And here's a look at the card slightly opened. The sentiment is stamped on a piece of white card stock and attached to the card by a piece of festive washi tape.  How cute is that!

Here's a pic of all the goodies that come in the box.  The kit comes with enough supplies to make 8 cards and 12 tags, plus there's always extra goodies and embellies left over, so you can really make the project your own.  It really is such a nice surprise to get each month!  And, with the holidays approaching, I think it would make a great gift to give to friends who love crafting or want to dabble with crafts.  They'll love that everything they need is in the box!

How fun would it be to give a friend this cute little package that they can look forward to getting each month?  To make things easy for gift-giving, there are prepaid subscription options for you to choose from:

Not only are they great for gifts, but a great treat for yourself, too! ;)  You can check out more details and purchase your prepaid subscriptions here or visit My Paper Pumpkin to sign yourself up for month-to-month subscriptions. Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a great one. :)

Don't forget! I have a November Blog Candy Giveaway to celebrate my Stampin'Up! Anniversary!  Leave me a comment here to play!

Sharing Tags + Stampin'Up!'s Weekly Deals {Nov 18}

Hello there, crafty friends!  Today, I've got some tags to share using the Tag Topper Scalloped Punch and the Tree Punch. As you can see above, I made some quick and easy tags as well as one that's a little more stepped up.  Either way, they will look adorable on your holiday gifts!

Here's the stepped up version.  I added "star ornaments" on my tree using the Confetti Star Punch on the Gumball Green card stock and layering that on top of a tree punched out of Real Red card stock.  For the snow, I used a smudge of Whisper White card stock that I embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.  And then to dress up the tag, I tied the ribbons with a couple of tiny bells (I bought a small bag full of these from Michael's a few years ago) that I tied up with some twine.

Here's a look at the quick tags. They're nice and simple and come together quickly. These are great to mass produce!  All I did was punch the the scallop top, punch out a tree, add a button, and stamp a sentiment (I used the Festival of Trees photopolymer stamps set, which coordinates with the Tree Punch!).  And finally, I added this gorgeous Real Red Satin Woven Ribbon on the top.  Viola, you're done!

So, as a thank you to anyone that places a Stampin'Up! order from my Online Store, you'll get a set of 3 of the simple tags above from me!

Now, here's a look at this week's Stampin'Up! Weekly deals!  These specials are available Nov 18 thru Nov 24.

And, here's a link to the Holiday Catalog and the Holiday Supplement, too!  Enjoy browsing or better yet, getting started on your holiday shopping!

Cute little Zoo Babies

Happy weekend!  Hope you're enjoying your day, wherever you are. I'm excited that I got a chance to play in my craft room this morning.  Ever since Leadership, I've wanted to play more with the Fringe Scissors and the Scallop Tag Topper punch.  Plus, I got the Zoo Babies set that I haven't gotten to use, so I thought these cute little animals would be perfect for some fun and quick tags.  What do you think?  Here's a closer look at each one.
The giraffe is the longest tag of the three. I started with a 4" x 2" piece of Whisper White and then punched out the top.  Then, I stamped the giraffe in Pumpkin Pie.  To create the fringe for all the cards, I started with a 2"x 12" piece of the Polka Dot Parade DSP in Daffodil Delight.  Then I used the fringe scissors to cut about an inch into the paper and did that for the length of the 2"x12 strip.  That way, it was just faster to cut each piece down to 2" wide and put it at the bottom of my tags.
For the elephant tag, I started out with a 3 1/2" x 2" piece of Whisper White.  The elephant is stamped in Smokey Slate. I had fun doing the ribbons for each of these tags.  While the striped basic gray grosgrain I used for the elephant tag is retired, the other ribbons I used are in the current catalog - Daffodil Delight stitched grosgrain ribbon, Marina Mist Chevron ribbon, and the Natural Chevron ribbon (from the Occasions catalog)
The lion tag is the shortest tag, with my starting piece at 3" x 2."  I stamped the lion in Daffodil Delight and the sentiment in Marina Mist.  I used the Regals Designer buttons on all the cards and secured them with the Linen Thread. These tags were really fun to put together and super easy, too!
I have to say that the Fringe Scissors and the Scallop Tag Topper punch are 2 of my faves from the Occasions catalog.  I'm not gonna lie though, I have LOTS of faves from the Occasions catalog. It's definitely worth checking out!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Pinkalicious for this week's HSS Challenge 62

Hi there peeps!  How's your week going?  Well, I wish I could just take a sec to catch my breath - lots of things going on in the work and personal fronts...but that's for sharing at another time..all good though.   :)

Since time is of the essence, I will be short and sweet today sharing this week's post for Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge 62.  The theme is Pink-a-licious:
I made a little gift set that's a quick and easy little something for a hostess or friend.  Hope you like it!  Here's a look at the box and one with the tags inside.
Isn't that flower on the top of the box so FUN?  I learned how to create it from one of the projects over at UStamp With Dawn and Friends' Big Shot Brilliance.  Super cute, don't you think?  As for the box, it's super easy to make.  Start with a 7 1/2" x 10 1/2" piece of cardstock and score the 10 1/2" side at 2 1/2", 5", 7" 1/2, and 10.  The 1/2" flap left over is where you'll glue the seam of the box.  On the 7 1/2" side, score at 2 1/2" - this will form the bottom of your box.  For the lid, start with a 4 9/16" square and score each side at 1".  Fold at the score lines and cut at the 2 top and bottom verticle lines up to the 1" score lines.  Assemble box and use the Multipurpose glue to adhere.
Here's the inside of the box - the tags fit perfectly!

Hope you liked my quick and simple project!  Now it's time for you to play along and create ANY project that uses PINK!  Hop on over to Hand Stamped Sentiments and check out all the fun projects from our talented DT team :)

Have a great day!!  By for now!

{BOO!}

Hey there blog friends!  Enjoying your weekend?  It feels like fall here in Southern CA - it actually even looks like Seattle outside!  Rainy rainy rainy.  But I love it..makes me want to curl up and read a book by the fireplace.  Anyway, I've been working on some Halloween stuff, so thought I'd do a quick share of a Halloween tag I made and also a bunch of tags I'll be tying to the goodies I'm putting together for my nieces and nephews.  Wanna see the full "boo" tag?  Here it is"
I love that ghost - so spooky, yet friendly, like Casper ;)  Here are the tags I made for the munchkins:

I had fun making these - the ric rac is from the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL die and the Tags are from the Two Tags Bigz die.  I used 2 different alphabet dies - Simple Letters Alphabet for my "boo" and the Serif Essentials Alphabet for the monogram tags.  Hope you like these quick shares...need to finish up my little projects so I'm gonna run for now.  Have a great rest of your weekend and I'll catch up with you guys tomorrow!

Ciao for now :)

Wine Tag

I love it when I come across different ways to use the Big Shot dies I have! Today's project is a wine tag I created using the Stampin'Up! exclusive Two Tags Sizzix Bigz Die. Just in time for Holiday gift giving! These tags are perfect to have on hand to throw on a bottle to bring to the many holiday parties of the season. Here's a look at it in full view around the bottle. Not sure if you can tell in these pictures, but my little birdie is all covered up in Dazzling Diamonds glitter to give him some holiday bling! What do you think? Here's another closer view of the tag on the bottle. This is such an easy-peasy project, too! All I need to do now is write who this wine is for and we're good to go! Here's the recipe:
{Two Tags Wine Tag}
All supplies Stampin'Up!
*Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Merry Moments DSP
*Accessories: Stampin'Up exclusive Two Tags Sizzix Bigz Die, Bird and Blooms Sizzlits, Silver brad, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 1 3/8" Circle punch, Scallop Circle punch, Snowflake punch.
It's getting late for me, so off to bed I go! See you guys tomorrow for the Freebie Friday Winner announcement. Bye now :)
