Freebie Friday 11!

Yay! It's FRIDAY! I am soo looking forward to the weekend. Are you ready for Freebie Friday? Today's giveaway was a lot of fun to make! I can't say the idea's original on my part, because I've seen many a sample of this little basket, but I thought it was a clever use of the Box #2 Big Shot die. Here is the giveaway:

Isn't it a fun little basket? It's like a miniature version of those to-go drink holders, or something like that, anyway. It uses 2 of the Box #2 die cuts, glued back to back. Here are a few more pictures of the box shown empty, so you can see what it looks like.

Here is the recipe for this basket:
* Sweet Slumber Specialty Paper, Whisper White, Baja Breeze, So Saffron Cardstock
* A Good Egg and Oval All Stamp Sets
* Chocolate Chip Classic Stamp Pad
* Oval Scallop and Large Oval Punches
* So Saffron Grosgrain ribbon

I'll be mailing this basket flat, but don't worry - I'll mail the candy too ;)

Are you ready to play? In order to participate in today's giveaway, all you have to do is leave me a comment with your email address or blog url on this post by midnight Pacific time today - Friday, March 20th. You can comment on anything or answer today's question: What is your favorite crafting gadget? This one's an easy one for me. While I've been more proactive about using different gadgets in my cards and crafting in this past year, I'd have to say my favorite gadget is the Big Shot! It has really opened up my papercrafting world and I can't seem to do without it for most of my crafting projects. I'm so glad that this is the case too, since it was a big investment to make up front. I'm a packaging afficionado, so I love that I can use the die cuts to make little boxes and things, but I also love all the embossing and other die cut shapes that give cards the wow factor. So that's my input. I can't wait to read yours!

Enjoy your Friday and have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by today, too!

Good morning Rose!

This little basket is just adorable! I showed it to my 5-year old son and he said "Awww" in a high pitched voice:)

As of now, my favorite gadget would have to be the SU mat pack. I'm very picky about getting my brads and eyelets lined up straight. I also love paper piercing with it.

I hope you have a wonderful day! Tonight is stamp night for me, so I'm looking forward to an evening with the girls:)

What a cute basket. I'd be proud to get this one.

I guess my most favorite gadget is the Big Shot because it makes things go alot faster. I don't have all the dies, but I'm working on it.

Have a great weekend

Rose,
What an adorable basket! I love the colors too. My favorite crafting gadget would have to be the paper piercer/mat. It's great to make faux stitching and other pierced accenting. Just seeing what you can all do with the Big Shot makes me want one too. Thanks for sharing your cute creations!

Super cute basket - I love the set "A Good Egg" - that little chick coming out of the egg is just so great. I would have to agree with you; my favorite gadget right now is my Big Shot. I just love everything that you can do with it. There's seems to be something I can use it for with every project I'm creating.

Thanks for the opportunity to win!!

Hi Rose,
This too sooo cute...love it! My favorite gadget would be the Big Shot if that counts as a gadget, or the Crop-A-Dile since I hated hammering my eyelets!
Have a great weekend. See you in April. :)

LOVE your take on the basket idea! Great look!
I think my favorite gadget is the Big Shot, too. I used to stress about having enough of one thing to do a make&take and now I just plan around a die and can make an unlimited amount! It is liberating!

The eastern basket is so cute! Yummy candy! Thanks so much for the chance to win!!
My fav gadget is my paper trimmer. I couldn't cut a straight line without it which would make for some interesting cards.
Have a great weekend and many greetings from Germany Regina

Rose! This is so very cute! I'm going to have to get my box #2 die back from my upline so I can make one (or more) before Easter! What a cute and quick box. TFS.
