pink and brown birthday cupcake

Hello there blog friends!  Aren't you impressed that I've blogged every day so far this week?!  I tell you, it's been tough for me to get into a regular groove of crafting and blogging with a busy day job that's been keeping me occupied.  So, I thank you guys for still checking in with me! Yay!  It feels good to have caught up a little bit with life in general, that's for sure.  I'm going to enjoy it while I can.  Today's card share continues with the birthday card theme and the hybrid MDS/stamping technique.  As you can see, it's a simple and clean 2-tone card with a couple of button accents.  This is a great birthday card to have on hand - and with MDS, you can print out any cupcake colors to match your SU! cardstock.  Super easy peasy!  This pink is Pink Pirouette, which is a very soft and baby girlish pink. I added chunky glitter on my cupcake to give it that sugar-y goodness look!  Doesn't it look delectable?  I am also loving the little flower from the itty bitty punches set - it is just too cute.
Hope you like it!  Here's the recipe for you:
{Pink and Brown Birthday}
All supplies Stampin'Up! except for the buttons
*Stamp Sets: Party Hearty {in MDS}, Happy Moments {SAB set}
*Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
*Inks: Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel
*Accessories: Extra Large Scallop Circle punch, Itty Bitty Punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, polka dot embossing folder, Modern Label punch, chunky glitter, hodge podge hardware brads, chocolate chip taffeta ribbon
Hope you guys have a fantastic day!  Oh, and don't forget, today's the last day to leave a comment for June's Final Friday Giveaway.  The winner will be announced on Friday!

Thanks for coming by!
