you've got {MAIL!}

Hello and happy Monday to you all!  Today's card share is the card I created for this week's 2S4Y challenge. Laura created this week's sketch:

One of my favorite things about sketch challenges is pushing myself to try and think outside of the box with the sketches.  As you guys can probably tell, I'm usually pretty literal in my sketch translations - with shapes and layouts and everything.  {This is probably the result of being a daughter of 2 engineers!} Maybe part of that is just my innate style.  But with each sketch, I really do try and change up my imagination and creativity by thinking of different ways I can incorporate certain images or themes.  For this week, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone a little and took my creative interpretation with the 2 rectangle shapes and converted them to my 2 daisies pictured in the little card snippet above.  Here's a look at my full card:

Now, isn't the bottom image fun?  The stamp is from the Who's that E Girl stamp set from My Favorite Things, who is this week's 2S4Y sponsor of the week.  I paper pieced the couch with a fun floral DSP that will be in SU'w upcoming catty {a little sneak peek for ya!}.  Here's the card recipe:
