A Freebie Friday Medallion for ya

So glad it's Friday! Are you? Well, I've got a medallion for you today - a Medallion Notepad, as a matter of fact! Here's the full view: And here's a look at the inside, too.
I was inspired to make this after I made those 2 notebooks for my co-workers! This is such a fun and easy project! This notepad holder measures 5 3/4" x 4 3/8" and is about 1/2" thick. It's a fun project and they make great little gifts for teachers, hostesses, friends, or anyone for that matter. The Stampin'Up! Notepad is from convention a few years back and I just rediscovered them in my stamp room. That's always fun to find some oldies but goodies, huh? Here's the recipe, in case you want to re-create this folder.

{Medallion Recipe}
All Stampin'Up! supplies
* Stamp Set: Medallion
* Cardstock: 5 3/4" x 9 1/4" bermuda bay textured cs, scored at 4 3/8" from either side, crushed curry textured cs, shimmery white cs
* 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" notepad
* Accessories: Crushed curry polka dot grosgrain ribbon, scallop border punch

So are you guys ready to play for today's Freebie? All you need to do is leave me a comment along with your blog website or email address on this post by midnight on Sunday, August 23rd! You can comment about anything or answer this question: What do you look forward to the most about the Fall season? I know it's coming upon us pretty quick.. One thing I will say is, I wish we had a more dramatic season change in California with the leaves turning color, like they do in the East coast. One day, I would like to be able to see that metamorphosis! Anyways, I look forward to reading about your Fall season favorites. Hope you have a great weekend!

Ciao for now!

Hello,
I love that stamp set. It's going on my next order. I keep seeing so many awesome things made with it.
I love fall, it's my favorite season. What I look forward to the most is the Balloon Fiesta. I'm live in Albuquerque NM and ever October we host the International Balloon Fiesta and I love looking out the window every morning when it's nice and cool and seeing the sky filled with hundreds of hot air balloons. I just love it!
Thanks for another great giveaway!

My favorite thing in the fall is Disneyland in the fall. I love how the parks are decorated and the atmosphere there. I love to go with the fam for a a few hours in the evening and just have a great time.

Hmmm, I live in Vegas so I don't get a beautiful change in seasons either, but it is nice when it starts to cool down. My favorite thing though is seeing pumpkins, they make me happy...I also love fall cooking!!! Yummy rich, warm, and cinnamon-y spicy treats.

Rose-

I just love the Fall! I look forward to the changing leaves. We try to take a trip to Skyline Drive which you drive around the mountains and it overlooks Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. I remember my parents taking us there as kids. I also look forward to taking the kids Trick-or-treating and Thanksgiving. Fall is so exciting, because of it's beauty and the kick off to the holidays:)

The notebook is beautiful!

Happy Friday!

I love the cooler temperatures that come with the changing of the season, and all the pretty decorations out there. (Love that new wheel for fall, Thanksgiving in the catalog!)

I love this medallion stamp and the beautiful project you've created with it! I'm waiting for my Stampin' Up! order to arrive, so that I will have my very own medallion to play with.

I love the colors of autumn here in the northeast (I'm in Connecticut). I've lived here most of my life, and I don't get tired of it. I also enjoy the cooler weather. The combination is really special. Today is my birthday, and that's always a sign that my favorite season is just around the corner -- I'm looking forward to it.

Fall always energizes me. It's cooler and the idea of winter coming spurs me on to get a few things done before we are inside most of the time.
Love the medallion stamp. It is definetly on my next order. Not sure why I didn't order it right away. It's been on my list since day one.

Rose,
Cute medallion notepad!
Although we really didn't get much hot weather this summer, the cooler temperatures will be a nice change. I do look forward to fall for many reasons, but football, Halloween and trick-or-treating with the kids, and Thanksgiving with family and friends are at the top of my list for fall favorites!
Thank you for the chance to win!
Have a great weekend!

XOXOX the Medallion creation you made!

Today, here in So Cal, it seems a little fallish with the breeze and the {strange of August} cloud cover. What I look forward to most with the coming of fall is breaking out all my yummy sweaters. I also like that I can put on bulky close to hide my ever getting older and ever getting chunkier figure! LMBO!!
