Ghosts of Freebie Friday

Boo! Freebie Friday has finally arrived with some ghostly greetings! I know I got a late start...I had a lot of things to do today! But nonetheless, it's still Friday in California and that's what counts, right? So, here is today's Freebie, in its full view: The lucky winner will get some fun surprise treats inside. :)

As you can probably deduce from my last couple of posts, I'm pretty caught up in a Halloween vibe that also involves the Twick or Tweet stamp set from the Holiday Mini. I do love this set! I have yet to use the pumpkins, so that will have to be coming soon, cuz I just can't leave them out - they're super cute as well! I played with the Shimmer paints in the frosty white to give my little ghost some texture and sheen. I also sponge daubered a little bit of that shimmer paint onto the Tangerine Tango die cut mat behind the ghosts. I used the Matchbox Bigz XL die to create this little favor. For the outer slide cover, I actually ran 2 sheets - one in black and the other in the tangerine tango {I was surprised to find that I was all out of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and all I had in the orange family was the Tangerine Tango}. Isn't this a fun Halloween favor? Here's the recipe:
{Ghosts of Freebie Friday Matchbox}
*Stamps: Twick or Tweet
*Cardstock: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White
*Ink: Basic Black, Basic Gray classic stamp pads
*Accessories: Scallop Border, Modern Label, 1 3/8" circle punches; Matchbox Biz XL die cut, Frost White Shimmer Paint
Well in order to win this freebie, just leave me a comment along with your blog website or email address on this post by midnight on Sunday, September 13th! You can comment about anything or answer this question: Do you decorate your home for Halloween? Or, do you have any Halloween traditions? I'd love to hear about them! I only sort of decorate for Halloween. I have my candy jar, and a couple of Halloween knick knacks, but that's about it. I'm inspired to create some Halloween favors this year for my co-workers, just so I can use this adorable Twick or Tweet stamp set and also use my die cut boxes! But, sometimes my best intentions get sidelined due to lack of time. So, we'll see how it goes. If only there were 5 more hours in a day, huh?!

Anyway, come back on Monday to find out who the winner is! I hope you leave me a comment ;)

Good luck!

VERY cute, Rose! I LOVE Halloween, I decorate inside but not outside. I love anything vintage-looking, little witches, ghosts, pumpkins, you name it! Baskets of gourds, too!! Thanks for sharing your creations!

Rose,
Super cute box!
I have a few Halloween decorations for inside of the house.
We also go trick or treating for a short time with the kids. I am usually a witch ~:-) After that, we hand out treats for other trick or treaters. One year my husband sat outside on our doorstep dressed up as the grim reaper. He would sit as still as a stone, and when trick or treaters came to the door he would start moving and scare them! It was funny!
Thank you for the chance to win!
Take care!
Kris

What a darling creation!!! I have all my fingers and toes crossed to win this little jem!!!!!!!!!

We sort of decorate too. I let the kids do the cling ons on the windows and we string the webbing stuff around the front door. Somewhere we have a few yard signs but nothing major.

Thanks for the op to win your DARLING creation. I really hope my number comes up!!!!

Most of our kids in the neighborhood are grown but I have about 6 that I do special treats for. This year I'm using the sweet centers and making a card for each of them. I like your project also. Thanks,

I don't do alot of decorating for Halloween. but I do leave my spider webs (the real things!) up! It's my excuse for not cleaning house!!

Darling box. I love it.

Oh my gosh this is adorable! Halloween is my favorite holiday so I definitely decorate my house inside and out. In the front yard I set up a graveyard, which is my favorite! :o)

Rose...cute freebie! I've really gotten away from decorating at Halloween since my 20 yr old son was little. I hope to get back to it when I retire in just a couple years. I'd like to be one of those who dresses up to greet the trick or treaters!

Another super cute idea!

I don't usually do much decorating for Halloween, but last year I cut some big spiders and hung them on our front door. They were cute spiders, not the scary ones. :)

We always decorate the house, inside and out. It is so much fun to do and the kids love it. We live by a school so it is really neat to see the kids checking everything out. We make it a family affair. Thanks for sharing your fabulous ideas.

Love your Halloween stuff! We do decorate for Halloween. We will put up a giant spider web between the two trees in our front yard - with a large spider on it.
