Freebie Friday for the Shoe Lover

Hi all! So glad it's Friday! I've got a fun giveaway today...if you're a Shoe Lover, you'll love this little notebook. Here's a look: The shoe is from the Things I Love stamp set and the fun paper is Razzleberry Lemonade DSP with Crushed Curry in the background. Wanna see a couple more pictures? Here you go: The notebook fits a 5"x8" junior legal pad, so it would be handy for taking notes by your computer or bringing to work to jot notes down in. Here's a look at the inside.
The left side is a little pocket folder edged with scalloped trim {a little extra detail for ya!} that you can put cards, coupons, or whatever in, and then I added the scalloped envelope on the outer side of the pocket so you can put stuff like stamps or business cards in. How do you like it? It's a slightly modified version of the notebooks I was making before, in that this one has an extra pocket on the cover. Ingenious huh? Well, I got this brilliant idea from Mish Wooderson's blog. She made planners for the holidays last year. I'll be scheduling a class to make a Holiday notebook soon, so if you're local in the LA area of Southern CA, stay tuned!

Now, to play in this week's Freebie Friday, all you need to do is leave me a comment on this post with either your email address or blog address (basically so I can get in touch with you). Leave the comment by midnight on Sunday, September 27th and I'll be announcing the winner on Monday, Sep 28th. So, you can comment about anything, or answer this question: When do you start getting ready for the Christmas/Hanukkah Holiday Season?

I look forward to reading your comments! Have a great weekend :)

Hi Rose,
I love this little notebook! Thank you for passing this great idea along! :)
Right after Thanksgiving, we usually start "decking the halls"; well, I should say that my husband starts the decorating then (he loves to get the tree up as soon as possible)! He usually has the tree set up before I get out of bed the day after Thanksgiving!
Thank you for the chance to win!
Take care!
Kris

Hi Rose,

Love the notebook. I've done these for my hostess thank you and put their Initial on the front. They all seem to like them. BTW, the ghost matchbox was adorable and the chocolates were great. Thanks, Sherry

I love the covered notepad, especially the envelope inside. I think I will make some of those for my employees Christmas gifts. I have already started making Christmas cards and gifts. It's never too early! Debra

Hi Rose, I hope your enjoying your Friday. I love your notebook holder. Very cute. We start getting ready for Christmas right after Halloween. My parent go away for the winter so we have Chirstmas early with them, so I have to be ready in November.

I LOVE this notebook!
I start Christmas shopping the day after Christmas the year before, but I REALLY start getting ready the beginning of November. I do an in-home craft show and I have to put up my Christmas tree for it. So it really helps put me in the Christmas mood!

Thank you for sharing your creative work! I love your notebook idea! As a crafter, I realize I'm starting to think about the holidays sooner & sooner! I may not actually start getting ready (I tend to be a procrastinator!), but I find myself thinking about what to do even in the summer!
