all packaged up...

Hi blog peeps!  Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend.  I know I did - and I feel more stuffed than a turkey right now.  Definitely time to get back into my gym routine!  But that's another conversation :)  I just wanted to pop in with a quick share of the projects we made at my Holiday Class from this afternoon.  We had lots of fun crafting the afternoon away.
So, what do you think of the projects?  First of all, I have to give credit where credit's due for the snowman card - it was inspired by a card that Doris Denman made.  She's a fellow Stampin'Up! demonstrator..and a very crafty one at that!  Her card  was called "Mr. Flaky" and it was just super cute.  I just changed up the snowman a bit by adding his hat. Isn't he a cutie?  The rest of the projects are a mish mash of my own concoction and elements inspired by many cards I've been admiring...too many for a specific attribution!  Now unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a good "group" picture of my projects. So, I turned to My Digital Studio {MDS} to create my project collage.  By creating a page layout in MDS, I was able to gather my projects in one place, and even though each one is separate, they're all together for an improvised group photo - YAY!  The program's pretty nifty!  Anyway, the snowflake package in the top picture above is the box we created to put the cards in - super cute and super easy!  I'll post each of these projects separately this week and include supplies and instructions, so stay tuned!

I'm gonna say good night for now.  It's getting late for me and tomorrow's a back to work day...I can't believe the weekend's already come and gone!  Have a good one - whatever time zone you're in - and I'll see you soon!

Bye for now :)

Stamp-a-Stack Class on February 8th!

Here are the 5 card projects for my upcoming Stamp-a-Stack Class on Feb 8th. I've made the class with 2 options - you can do 1 of each of these 5 cards for $10 or do 2 of each at $20. You'll be making cards for Birthday, Thank You, Sympathy, Anniversary, and Baby, which are great to have on hand so you're ready for any occassions throughout the year. For the baby card, you have the option to make a boy or girl card if you do the 5 cards, and you'll make one of each if you do 10.

If you take a good look at the cards, you'll notice that we'll be using a lot of awesome new accessories like the Texturz embossing plates, the Simple Flower embosslit and the Butterfly die cut, to name a few. And of course, we'll be trying out a new stamp set and some new designer series papers! Make sure to sign up for the class by next Wed, Feb 4th - you won't want to miss it! The class is from 2-5 pm at my home. At the end of the day, you'll be taking home 5 or 10 cards with matching envelopes and instructions complete with the recipes and supplies so you can recreate them on your own. If you're interested in attending and are in the Los Angeles area, please send me an email at rosediehlstamps@yahoo.com and I will give you the details! You can register for the class using the Paypal button in the right column of my blog or send me an email as well. Look forward to seeing you!

Happy New Year!

Here's to 2009 - may it be a good year for all of us! I don't know what you all have on tap today, but I know that football will be on at my house. Not quite sure what else is afoot yet, as far as plans go. I'll probably go on a run in a little bit to get the year started off to a healthy and active start!

I do know that I am posting my January Class project - the 12 month card binder! Here are some sneak peeks.
