Thoroughly Modern Freebie Friday!

Hi guys! I can't believe it's already Friday. I guess time really does go faster as you get older! I can't complain though, because at least we have the weekend to look forward to, right? Well, for today, I thought I'd giveaway yet another notebook, but this time, I actually altered the Stampin'Up! Thoroughly Modern file folders to create my little giveaway. I also used the Beautiful Butterflies exclusive SU! Bigz die to die cut my felt self adhesive butterfly. Then, I used the On Board chipboard letters in their natural state to spell out "notes." What do you think? Simple, easy, and no stamping or inks required! Hope you like it!
{Thoroughly Modern Butterfly Notes}
*Dies: Beautiful Butterflies SU! Exclusive Bigz Die
*Accessories: On Board Loads Of Letters chipboard, Thoroughly Modern file folders, Hemp Twine, buttons, self adhesive felt
And here's a look at the Butterfly die I used - it's got lots of beautiful butterflies! All you need to do to play for this week's Notebook freebie is leave me a comment on this post, with either your email address or your blog site, by midnight Pacific Time on Sunday October 11th. You can leave me a comment about anything or you can tell me where you're writing from {like your city, state, and/or country if you're outside of the US - that's always fun to see!} and tell me about your favorite Fall Time food. I'll start off by saying I love having homemade soups in the fall! I'm lucky to have an awesome husband that loves to cook! So, my favorite recipes from his soup repertoire include lobster bisque, butternut squash soup, French Onion, and corn chowder. Yum. It's just starting to cool down here in CA (and it's relatively mild, compared to other locales...I think the evenings have been in the high 50's, low 60's by my house). Anyway, I look forward to reading your comments. It's always so fun to learn about my blog readers!

Have a great one!

  2. I love to have chili when the temperatures start to drop. I was just talking to my little girl this morning about having chili on night next week. It has been so rainy here in KY for the last week. Ready to curl up and watch some good movies, or stamp some great Halloween cards.

  5. Hi Rose! This is my first time posting! I am in Southern Florida so it is hard to get into fall foods here as it is still in the 90's and humid. But nothing like a good Butternut Squash soup or Pumkin Ravioli any time of year! Have an amazing recipe from Wolf Gang Pucks for the soup if your interested!

  12. I am in Mason, MI, so we are definitely feeling the Fall coolness in the air! I love apple pie fresh from the oven, and of course those apples have been handpicked at one of the local orchards by my family and I. Of course, I defeat the "warm apple"ness with ice cream on top!
