Simply Sent! There's an app for that..

Happy Friday, dear blog friends! I'm actually trying out a couple of things with this post - 1) I'm using the blogger mobile app and 2). I am trying out Stampin'Up!'s new mobile app called Simply Sent! It's an awesome little app that allows you to compose a digital scrapbook page right on your phone! Currently, it's available for the iPhone and it's Free! Here's my first layout. Lemme know what you think! And if you have an iPhone...how about you try it out and let me know what you think of the new app! Look forward to hearing from you!

I'll be back soon with another post...lots of things to share. And now that I'm mobile enabled, I may just be blogging more frequently.

For those of you that recall - I did have a mobile app before, but it was no longer supported. The great news is that this app is a new release from blogger (they have it for Android, too). So, if you're a blogger, it's a nice mobile option :)

It's Election Day! Go VOTE!

Hi all!  Today is Election Day in the United States, so I encourage all of you registered voters in the US to go out and vote today.  Whomever you vote for, this is your opportunity to let your voice be heard.  I did my duty and went and voted this morning. :)

And, I also wanted to leave you with a digital scrapbook page share from our trip to the aquarium this past summer.  It was so fun to see it through my little guy's eyes!

 

This is an 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbook page that I created in MDS2 using the Piece Of Cake DSP, Keep this Memory Stamp, and Downtown Grunge frames.  We took tons of pictures at the aquarium, but this particular moment was really so so cute to watch.  Denver's touching a starfish for the very first time.  Priceless! Hope you like it!

MDS Ideas and some great pricing news!

Hello again!  Have you guys taken a peek at the new MDS2 yet?  It's not only a great digital scrapbooking app, but it's an AWESOME tool for party planning, too!  You name it - invites, favors, banners, signs.  You have to give it a whirl.  Now, there's even more incentive because Stampin'Up! has dropped their print services pricing pretty significantly, so their offerings are competitive with the other photo services out there!  The cool thing is, you have the option of using existing templates or having total flexibility on creating your pages or projects however you like!  Here's a quick and simple page I created of my favorite subject:

Isn't he a cutie?  I can't believe how fast time flies.  This was taken at the end of April and he has grown so much already since then.  I'm glad I captured the moment.  For me, the convenience of digital scrapbooking makes it so nice and easy to make a memorable layout.  If you're like me, you can do one page at a time and feel like you've accomplished something in just a few minutes!  The second page I created uses the same basic layout, but here, I share some of the party favors and decor I created for Denver's party using MDS. Whaddaya think?
