I {heart} Haiti Relief efforts

Hi all. In keeping with Valentines week and sharing the love to those around you and especially those in need, I would encourage you to donate to Haiti in whatever means or whichever organization you choose to. The important thing is to donate and make a difference. Having said that, if you would like to give to help support the people of Haiti, or, say you've already given but would like to give more, and you happen to enjoy stamping and LOVE hearts, Stampin'Up! has a special promotion for you. If you purchase the I {heart} Hearts stamp set from now until the end of the month (February 28th), Stampin'Up! will donate $2 towards Haiti relief. The set is a beautiful and versatile set. And, as you can see from my Valentine samples from the last few weeks (and as recent as my last post), you'll see that I've used this set for many projects!

So, if you'd like to partake and share some love, you can order this set from my Demonstrator Website by clicking "Shop Now", then click "Haitian Relief" in the left column. It's that easy. The set comes in either the traditional wood mounted stamps or the clear mount stamps - choose what you like.

Hope you have a great day!

{fancy favor} Valentine

Are you ready for some more Valentine's projects? I got a couple Fancy favor boxes for you today. I just love the Sending Love DSP, that I had to use it for these cute little favors. Here they are. I made them more like little sack pouches, since both get sinched up. The "friend" fancy favor is really more like a purse. Isn't the flower on the pink favor so cute? I made that using 4 layers of the Scallop Circle punch, all scrunched up and then put back together. Just so fun. I love to craft. I think I'll be making more of these this week!

Hope you like 'em! Have a great day!

Love {YOU} Much Matchbox

Since this is Valentine's Day week, my project posts are all going to be Valentine related. Looking for a little treat box to make for your Loves? How about this cute Matchbox paired with the Scallop Hearts embosslit and Love You Much sentiment from the Well Scripted stamp set? Here's what I put in the inside... It's fille with kisses! Yum...and how appropriate! I do love the Sending Love Specialty Paper from the Occasions Mini - it's so pretty. I'm not sure if you can tell, but it's textured with some glitter accents on the flower. Such nice detail. You know what else is cool? I didn't need my stamp-a-majig to line up my sentiment, either! I even punched out the heart, then stamped on the sentiment, using the clear mount stamps. Makes it so easy to get it just right! Here's the recipe for you:
{Love you much Matchbox}
All supplies Stampin'Up!*Stamp Set: Well Scripted
*Cardstock: Sending Love DSP, Pretty In Pink, Whisper White
*Inks: Real Red Classic Stamp Pad
*Accessories: Scallop Heart of Hearts Embosslit, Matchbox Bigz XL die, Heart Punch, Linen Thread, Playground button

Moxi Fab's Trigger Challenge

Hi all, it's been a little while since I've done a Moxi Fab Tuesday Trigger challenge, so I thought I'd take a second to play! Here's the inspiration photo: As soon as I saw the hearts, I wanted to make something. Plus I've been into the valentine mode, too, so here's what I was inspired to create.
I call it my Heart Strings card. I've been getting lots of use out of the Sending Love Specialty paper! I also love embellishing with buttons, so I sprinkled some pink and red from the Playground and Sherbet SU! buttons.
Hope you like it. Here's the recipe:
{Heart Strings card}
All Supplies Stampin'Up!
*Cardstock: Sending Love Specialty DSP, Kraft, Very Vanilla
*Accessories: Full Heart punch, Pinking Hearts Border punch, Playground and Sherbet ribbons, Linen Thread, Polka Dot Embossing folder
Thanks for stopping by!

sweet little {love} Notes

Happy Saturday, everyone! Who can't use a few little love notes or sweet Valentines? Here are a few sweet little note cards or tags I made using the Two Tags die and the fun new Heart Embosslit from the Occasions Mini. What I love is that these cute little guys fit in the 3x3 envies, so they make a perfect size Valentine! Here's a close up for you: Whaddaya think? Aren't they cute? If you want to make a bunch of these for your kids, they're super easy to make! Not only that, but they don't have to be just for Valentine's. You can make these cute little card inserts for birthday or hostess gifts, too. Just change your image on the front, and switch up your color palettes and you're good to go. Pretty cool. We'll be making this as one of my make-n-takes tomorrow for my Superbowl Sale-a-bration workshop! Anyone in Southern CA (South Bay, Torrance area) that's interested in coming? Send me an email and I'll send you directions to my house! It's from 2-4 tomorrow, so if you're not a big Football person or don't have a superbowl game to go to, you're welcome to come by!

Sorry I have been off the grid this past week. I've been trying to recover from my cold/cough situation and I think I'm recovering just in time for my workshop tomorrow. Yay!!!

Stay tuned as I'll be posting my February Final Friday Giveaway a little later today :) Have a good one!
