{workshop projects}

Hey there - I thought I'd share the workshop projects we made at my workshop this past weekend. We made a Build-a-Bear card, which each person got to customize and outfit any way the wanted using cardstock and paper from my big box of scraps :) You might recognize my Bruin Bear from my previous post {I actually made him after my workshop - I had given the one I made away to one of my workshop attendees}. Everyone's bear was unique and I think all the ladies enjoyed dressing up their bears! ;) We also made a Halloween Favor using the Sweet Centers stamp set and the treat cups! This awesome little favor was cased from Becky Roberts' site, Inking Idaho, which is chock full of fabulous projects! If you haven't popped by for a visit, be prepared to stay awhile - she's got a lot of cool projects and tutorials you'll love!

As for this Halloween favor, I just changed up the colors a bit, but kept the project pretty much the same. I loved her clever way of accessing the candy through a "trap door." These are two finished samples - one filled with M&M's and the other with Jelly Beans. Yum! Here are a couple views of the inside trap door:
Pretty nifty, eh?
{Halloween Sweet Treats}
Finished favor size is 3"x3"
*Stamp Set: Sweet Centers, Teeny Tiny Wishes
*Cardstock, Basic Black, Whisper White, Dusty Durango
*Ink: Rich Razzleberry
*Accessories: Treat Cups, 1 3/4" circle punch, round tab punch; Rich Razzleberry and Dusty Durango polka dot grosgrain ribbon
Thanks for coming by! Hope you like the projects! Have a great day.

What a great idea on the slider. I did these at a workshop and they'd have to ruin the favor box to get the candy. TFS!
